When you’re planning on traveling, we offer a full and comprehensive range of in-home pet sitting services in the Austin metro area, with remarkable customer service that takes into account your pet’s unique needs and quirks.

Yes, we love taking care of puppies, kittens, and exotic pets including reptiles, birds, and guinea pigs!

Some basic activities including in our pet sitting services are:

  • Walks

  • Feeding and meals

  • Fresh water every visit

  • Playtime!

  • Quality one-on-one time with lots of affection 

  • Clean litter box or change wee wee pads daily

  • Giving basic medications

  • Snuggles and treats!

And while you’re traveling, our professional pet sitters are happy to water your plants*, bring in the mail, and make your home look “lived in”. If you have more plants or other home care requests, please check out our most popular Home Care services, available for an additional fee.


For dog sitting, please note that we require the morning and evening visits for dogs to be 45 minutes.

  • One 30-minute visit - $36 (most popular mid-day visit!)

  • One 45-minute visit - $41 (morning and evening requirement for dogs)

  • One 60-minute visit - $50

If you have three or more dogs, please add $5 per visit for each additional dog

Pet Sitting FAQ’s

  • Our professional sitters work 365 days a year. For pet sitting visits that fall on a major holiday, we do charge an additional $10 per visit. The Holiday fee applies on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

    Note: 100% of this fee goes directly to your pet sitter as a thank you for spending the holidays with your pet(s).

    **During the Thanksgiving & Christmas/New Year holidays, and also the week of Spring Break, there is a minimum of 3 visits per reservation.**

  • We love all pets! Our team of pet sitters offers services for dogs, cats, rabbits, certain reptiles, fish, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and more! Email us or call us for information.

  • Our team is trained in use of most oral medications and creams. However, we cannot administer medications orally to cats (we will for dogs). We also do not administer insulin shots for either dogs or cats.

  • Absolutely! Our team is trained to handle and confidently care for a wide variety of pets so that you can be truly at ease when you’re away from home.

  • We understand how hard it can be to know exactly what your pet needs while you’re away. That’s why we provide our one-on-one consultations with our clients to discuss all the details of your home and your pet, which helps to ensure you choose the right service for you & your pet.   • Yes! Stayin’ Home Pet Care is fully insured & bonded to provide you peace of mind that your

    pet is cared for by a truly qualified and professional team and your home is safe.

  • A 72-hour advance notice is required for cancellations in order to receive a refund or credit. During our busy seasons of summer & the holiday season, there is a 1-week (summer) & a 2-week (holiday) advanced notice for cancellations required in order to receive a refund or credit.

  • With the exception of apartments, we do not take possession of client keys. You have a few options as to how you prefer we gain access to your home: 1. Front door or garage door keypad 2. Lockbox 3. Hidden key (WELL-hidden key!) 4. Sitter pick up/drop off for $12. If clients choose to use a keypad or lock box, a second key must be hidden on the property or with neighbors in the event of power outages, low battery issues or if the lock box will not open.

  • Absolutely! You will receive visit information & a photo from your walker as each visit comes to an end.
